V2.16.0: Correlate

XBRL Cloud has added "Correlate" to Fundamental Accounting Concepts.
Users can now interactively correlate Fundamental Accounting Concept components with as-filed components. This makes it much easier to debug FAC errors, or to understand already-filed documents. The "correlate" functionality has been added to both CleanScore and the USFAC Dashboard:

GAAPWatch (and ERI)
There is a substantial performance enhancements to the "entity" perspective of GAAPWatch (and ERI). Notably, response time was previously painful at best with any filters turned on. Now, the system is quite responsive.

[Note:  This affects the "entity" perspective only.  The "disclosure" perspective will be similarly enhanced next]

V2.15.0: Report Frame Codes, and improved tools

Once again, we have a new release (V2.15.0) with lots of new features:
  • Fundamental Accounting Concept validation for U S GAAP (USFAC) now supports report-frame-based validation on production--this was previously Beta-only functionality.
  • Everyone can see the Report Frame Code for each filing prior to validation.  Filing agents have permission to change these codes.  If you are an individual filer, and don't think that your Report Frame Code is correct, please contact support.
  • Improved visualization of Balance Sheet  and other statements and disclosures. Notably, periods don't "bleed" through from disclosures to statements or other disclosure.
  • Export nice renderings of pre-submission filings to Excel, this is the same Excel document that was previously only available in GAAPWatch after submission
  • Export Validation results to Excel.
  • Component Groups relabeled in the Evidence Package to clearly show Level I, II, III, and IV disclosures.
  • Full support for EFM V31.
  • Updated USFAC Dashboard that reflects updated USFAC validation.
  • Miscellaneous minor visual improvements, bug fixes, and stability enhancement.
Please see samples of some of this functionality in the images below.

CSuite Summary no longer available

XBRL US has decided to stop providing "summary" results for CSuite.  Summary results were short reports that showed, for example, that there were "4 errors on the Balance Sheet", but did not indicate what the errors were.

Because XBRL US is no longer offering this service, XBRL Cloud will likewise no longer offer this service as part of the Validation and Evidence Package Reports.

There is no time-frame as to when (if?) XBRL US will restore summary reports.  Likewise, XBRL Cloud may or may not offer these reports in the future.
