Latest Beta optimizations

Our latest Beta release includes improvements to definition linkbase generation that reduces the XML file size by removing duplicate dimension-default relationships. Check it out today before it goes to production on Monday, April 9.

Also included only for Beta is a fix that allows explicitly importing 2017 country taxonomy using both HTTP and HTTPS locations for filings using 2018 US GAAP taxonomy. This is only a temporary fix to allow testing 2018 US GAAP taxonomy and it is not scheduled for production. We are still awaiting feedback from SEC. So stay tuned!

It is recommended to use HTTP URL only to explicitly import country taxonomy in filings using 2018 US GAAP taxonomy in order to be consistent with the automatically imported URL which is HTTP.
